How long is Visions of Mana?

The Mana franchise has been charming dedicated role-playing enthusiasts for many decades now, often flying under the radar of mainstream audiences. However, its newest title may be its most accessible entry to date. Visions of Mana is a gorgeous, sprawling adventure with a lovable cast of characters and an abundance of things to see and do. And since it functions as a reboot of sorts of the series, it’s the best time ever for new players to jump on board and see what longtime Mana fans have been enjoying all these years.

Phantom Blade Zero plays less like Sekiro, more like Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty—and I couldn't be happier

I got to sit down and play Phantom Blade Zero at Gamescom last week and—after muddling a bit to find my booth in the chaos of a bustling floor—came away quite impressed. Judging by the reactions of my fellow demo-triers, one of whom managed to beat it a whole 7 minutes before me (I'm not upset), it's looking to be a sleeper hit.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 creative director speaks about the dark fantasy RPG's stunning Unreal Engine 5 graphics: 'It’s a key foundation for the studio to really look for the latest technology'

One of the games I'm most looking forward to right now in 2025 is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a unique-looking new dark fantasy RPG being created by Sandfall Interactive. But also because it’s using Unreal Engine 5, and that means its graphics look fantastic, with notably subtle lighting effects and incredibly detailed textures. Check out the trailer below to get a taste.

Visions of Mana Review: Reminds Me Why I Fell In Love With This Series In The First Place

Nostalgia can be a powerful thing, and may be a prime example of how well that can work for a series' favor. The latest entry in the long-running series maintains most of its signature trademarks and feels like a classic title in nearly every sense of the term. This is both a boon to and a drawback — but it mostly works.
