NVIDIA just announced its Blackwell GPUs for AI and now eyes are all set on its gaming parts which are rumored to feature the same TSMC 4NP node.
During today's GTC 2024 keynote, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang showed a new AI NPC demo called Covert Protocol. Unlike the Kairos demo demonstrated at CES 2024, which was based on Convai technology, this one is powered by Inworld AI, the other major AI NPC platform geared towards game development. As you may recall, Inworld AI was first added by modder 'Bloc' in games like Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Grand Theft Auto V, though Rockstar quickly took that down to the dismay of the creator.

Family Sharing is a pretty great feature on Steam: Simply put, it lets you share your game library with friends and family, so if you and your brother and your mom all want to play Helldivers 2, for instance, you don't all have to buy it separately—as long as you don't want to play at the same time, anyway. That restriction was removed today, though, as Valve announced a pretty big overhaul to the system that combines Steam Family Sharing and the Family View parental control system into one big package called Steam Families.
It was recently reported that Apple could see fit to announce the new iPad Pro refresh on March 26 with some pretty hefty changes. The OLED display will be the highlight of the upgrade, but it will not be the only product that Apple unveils at its event, as the iPad Air is also slated to bring some nifty changes. It was reported earlier that Apple will shift the front camera and Face ID sensors in iPad Pro and iPad Air models from portrait to landscape orientation to enhance its utility. However, a tipster claims that the iPad Air 6 will only come in a 10.9-inch screen size, claiming that Apple will not release a 12.9-inch variant later this month.

Classic Marathon, a freeware fan revival for modern systems, is coming to Steam. Witness the roots of Bungie's infatuation with neurotic AI. Behold the mythical origins of the SPNKR. And yes, you can still use the chunky, off-center UI. While it'll be a new arrival on Steam, this incarnation of Marathon—alongside the rest of the Marathon trilogy—has been playable on current-day rigs for years, thanks to the efforts of the Aleph One development team. A community-managed revival effort, Aleph One is an open source engine built for current systems based on the Marathon 2 source code, which Bungie made freely available prior to its Microsoft acquisition in 1999. Classic Marathon's Steam release will allow you to play a near-authentic recreation of the original Marathon experience. But if you'd like to revisit the FPS classic while maintaining our current-day sensibilities, it'll include some optional modernizations like 60+ fps interpolation and widescreen HUD support. I'll forgive you if you don't tolerate the asymmetrical HUD situation as well as someone might've 30 years ago.
Steam Family Sharing has long been one of the handier features of Valve’s platform, although it’s always had a few limitations. Family Sharing lets you share your library with another Steam users, but only one person could access said library at once, regardless of what specific game you were playing. That could start to be a bit of a headache, particularly if you had a lot of people in your “family.”
