Season 3 Reloaded Arrives in Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone
PUBG: Battlegrounds is somehow old enough to evoke nostalgia. The pioneering battle royale game, which entered Steam Early Access in 2017, will borrow a page from Fortnite’s playbook and honor its first map. Erangel Classic will recreate the old-school battlefield from the game’s inception for a limited two-week run in May and June.
Blizzard is currently seeking job applicants for multiple high-level positions related to the creation of an unspecified, unannounced game. The job postings don't reveal much at all about what Blizzard's next big project might be, but the fact that the company is hiring shows that it has something new in the works for its fans.
Sega has released a new Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble which details the game’s five multiplayer battle modes.
PlayerUnkown's Battlegrounds is scrapping the new and going back to the old so players can revisit the classic Erangel map, which was the battle royale's first-ever battleground. It will be available on PC from May 14 and is «designed to evoke nostalgia for players who remember the early days,» according to an official blog post.
What year is it? Because I'm sure Sand Land (and the Akira Toriyama-authored anime and manga it's based on) just came out, but this action RPG, complete with numbers popping out of enemies whenever feisty lordling fiend Prince Beelzebub hits them, feels like a return to the bad old days of licensed games. The sort of forgotten PlayStation tie-in that included a bit of everything whether it should have or not, a game your well-meaning grandparents bought as a gift because they recognised the name of the movie.
Naoki Yoshida, also known as Yoshi-P, is the producer of both the (critically-acclaimed) MMORPG Final Fantasy 14 as well as Final Fantasy 16, which is still yet to come to PC.
