Canadian developer Inflexion Games had previously announced its debut project, the survival crafting game Nightingale, would support both AMD FSR 3 and NVIDIA DLSS 3 when the game launches on early access.
AMD’s platform-agnostic FSR 3 is a great feature, but months after releasing, it’s only available in a small list of titles. Now, we might finally have a clue as to why.
ASUS has finally launched its ROG Swift PG32UCDM gaming monitor which features a 32" QD-OLED 4K panel for a price of $1299 US.
The AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU are a lethal pairing when found in a gaming laptop, delivering incredible single-core, multi-core, and increased graphical performance in a wide variety of tasks, benchmarks, and, of course, games. When these cutting-edge parts are found in the ASUS TUF Gaming A15, which is now $300 off on Amazon, you should consider it the deal of a lifetime if you are looking for a capable machine that you can take with you for long periods away from the wall.
Poor Intel. Last year was pretty rough for the 55-year-old semiconductor firm, as it accrued just $54.2 billion in revenue, 14% less than the year before. After paying all its bills for manufacturing, research and development, and biscuits, there was just $1.7 billion left over in net income. Poor Intel.
We all love a good architecture or two in the PCG hardware office and we especially like AMD's current Zen 4 and 4c designs. They're super efficient, clock really high, and their performance in games is spot on. So a report that the chip giant's next generation of designs will be hitting mass production toward the end of summer 2024 has piqued our interest and it'll be good news for games if that's the case.
A report by Chinese technology outlet, UDN, suggests that AMD's Zen 5 CPUs will be entering TSMC fabs in Q2 followed by mass production in Q3 2024.
