Tomb Raider Franchise Sells Over 100 Million Units, Comes With Remaster Announcement

Crystal Dynamics posted that the Tomb Raider franchise has officially reached over 100 million games sold across the entire franchise, a franchise that started in 1996 and is still going strong even today in 2024. Not only did Crystal Dynamics express their gratitude and excitement over the success of the franchise, but they also announced that Tomb Raider IV-VI are getting their very own remaster collection, which is monumental news for those who have been waiting to see whether Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness would ever receive any special treatment. Angel of Darkness has always been the most controversial game in the series, and it's already taken plenty of Tomb Raider fans by surprise that they've chosen to remaster this game, too. It's possible that by remastering it, all of the bugs that the game ever had will be fixed, and its reputation may finally swing to a positive.
