Starfield Releases Update 1.9.67

Starfield update 1.9.67 is now available for download across both PC and the Xbox Series X/S consoles. This release introduces some stability fixes and graphics improvements to Starfield, as well as several other changes.

Bethesda has so far been updating its space-faring RPG at a fairly steady pace. Counting beta releases, patch 1.9.67 is the ninth Starfield update since the beginning of its early access period in September 2023, as well as its tenth overall. It arrives a month after the massive Starfield update 1.9.51, which introduced over 120 changes to the game.

As for how contemporary their GPUs have to be, FSR 3 officially supports cards as old as the Radeon RX 5700, which hit the market in July 2019. The latest Starfield update also introduces support for Intel Xe Super Sampling (XeSS), another AI-powered upscaling solution that's not only compatible with Intel Arc GPUs but also works with many of their Nvidia and AMD rivals.

Bethesda even refined the game's support for Nvidia's DLSS upscaling tech as part of this update, which fixes a peculiar issue that previously made clouds appear to vibrate in performance mode. Beyond that, the patch attempts to alleviate an issue that sometimes causes Starfield to crash when loading a save that has «visited many locations.» To that
