Rebel Moon Video Game Revealed By Zack Snyder, Closed Beta Opens Today

Netflix and director Zack Snyder are all in on as they've just announced a game based on the gritty sci-fi franchise. Ahead of the debut of in 2023, Snyder made it explicitly clear that he was approaching the film as the start of a franchise, quietly confirming that he was aware of a video game adaptation. Months after, the game is finally stepping out of the shadows and inviting fans to give it a try.

In an official blog post, Netflix dropped a gameplay trailer for , a standalone adventure that plays like a top-down co-op shooter filled with recognizable characters and plenty of action.

The streaming giant draws comparisons to and but the actual nature of the game is largely unknown; whether or not it will focus on grinding for loot and experience remains to be seen, even though the presentation certainly suggests those systems will feature.
