Microsoft is cutting another 650 jobs in its gaming division, Stephen Totilo reported in today's Game File newsletter. The article includes a quote from an internal email sent this morning to employees by Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer:
BioWare continues to show off new parts of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Following the combat and progression showcases, the developer has now published a new blog post and a series of flyover videos about the exploration and regions that players will encounter in the game. To begin with, the studio detailed five major locations in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, including the Arlathan Forest, the Hossberg Wetlands, the city of Minrathous, Rivain, and the city of Treviso.
Gamers were very surprised to learn the price of the PS5 Pro. Rumors suggested it could be around $500, but Sony went much more expensive. The mid-generation console refresh will be available in retail stores from November 7 at $700 (€800 in Europe), and that's without the disc drive and vertical stand. By comparison, the PlayStation 4 Pro only cost $/€ 399, the same as the base PlayStation 4 at launch.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show 2024, KONAMI confirmed.
