Although each game thus far has had a standalone ending, this time, developers are doing something a bit different and showing how the timelines converge. This adventure game has everything from sailing the seas, delving into the dungeons, and searching out lost treasure, but all might not be what it seems.

The true ending is the version that will be discussed in this article, and therefore, it may be different from a player's experience if they took a different path. Although the game does end on an ominous note, this ending wraps things up much more meaningfully than some of the other versions may do.
