Assassin’s Creed Shadows Delayed to February 2025; Ubisoft Announces Return to Steam on Day 1 and Departs Season Pass Model

The rumors were true: Ubisoft has just delayed Assassin's Creed Shadows to February 14, 2025. The reason to do so was the softer-than-expected performance of Star Wars Outlaws, which contributed to a disappointing financial result in Ubisoft's second quarter (following the stock price crash from a couple of weeks ago).

Lastly, Assassin's Creed Shadows will be available on Steam on day one, marking a return to Valve's platform after Ubisoft had tried to sell its games via Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store.
