10 Best Echoes To Get Early In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

introduces a new mechanic to the game. Instead of fighting with a sword, players are given a Tri-Rod and accompanied by a companion known as Tri. As players play as Princess Zelda for the first time in a mainline Zelda game, they must rely on the Tri-Rod to overcome challenges and fight monsters.

The Tri-Rod lets Princess Zelda scan certain items and monsters to create echoes of them. Using the Tri-Rod again, Princess Zelda can summon these echoes to do her bidding or help her navigate Hyrule. There are many items to scan, some more useful than others. So, what are the best echoes to get early on?

Forget the table — the first echo Princess Zelda learns while figuring her way out of Hyrule Castle. The table is nice initially, as it allows Princess Zelda to stack and climb higher up. But the bed is a nice upgrade. While the table is short and square, the old bed is longer, providing a longer platform for Princess Zelda to climb onto. It also gives more room to stack. Instead of stacking directly on top of one another, you can stack them half off, creating a staircase, which you can’t do with the Table Echo.

As demonstrated in NintendoUK's video, The Old Bed Echo takes just one triangle away from Tri. So, at the start, Princess Zelda can summon three. As Tri grows more powerful and gains more triangles, Zelda can create even more beds at one time. Like the table, the Old Bed Echo is found within Hyrule Castle. Aside from using these as platforms, Princess Zelda can rest in them and restore hearts.

The Trampoline Echo is also helpful in reaching high places. Princess Zelda’s jump isn’t the highest. Using the trampoline allows her to jump slightly higher, though not by much. However, you can jump even higher if youstack two trampolines on each other or even one trampoline on top of a table or bed.
