When it comes to games like Stardew Valley, Coral Island takes the cake as one of the best - but the indie farming sim's future on consoles is now unknown following publisher layoffs.
Whether you own Microsoft’s Xbox Series X or Xbox Series X, you can solve one of the consoles’ limitations by buying the 512GB Seagate Storage Expansion Card for the Xbox Series X and S. It’s currently on sale from B&H Photo Video for only $90, following a $20 discount on its original price of $110. You need to act fast though, as every single owner of Microsoft’s latest generation of consoles would want to take advantage of this offer. If you move slow, you’re likely going to miss out on the savings.
Nintendo doesn’t often have massive blunders, but the Wii U was certainly a dark time for the company. Earth Defense Force 6 released earlier today, and as you'd be able to tell from our review, we like it quite a bit. But while a new EDF should be cause for raucous celebration from one of the world's more specific types of sicko, I'm pained to report that the sickos are displeased. This update is called Hunt: Showdown 1896, and players will be heading to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Luckily, players won't have long to wait, as the official release date for this chapter is August 15. This update will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition is now widely available to play via GeForce Now across various platforms. GeForce NOW already has an expansive library, but now this iconic classic has made its way into it. Along with Skyrim, eight other games will be joining the library.
Xbox Game Pass hasn't yet revealed the full roster of what will be joining its library in August 2024, but one game that has just been announced will finally deliver on a long period of waiting. Getting games on the service on their launch day is a big part of Xbox Game Pass's appeal, and a lot of great titles end up getting that treatment. Considering some recent Xbox Game Pass price increases, thoroughly delivering on its value proposition is more important now than ever.
