The Outer Worlds 2 was announced at E3 2021 with a hilarious self-aware trailer. We haven't heard anything more about it until now. Obsidian Entertainment CEO Feargus Urquhart talked a bit about the RPG sequel as part of his interview with YouTube channel Limit Break Network.

A bunch of the Engadget crew loves the Playdate, the tiny, quirky portable console with a load of great indie games and a crank on the side. I've long had my eye on it, but never pulled the trigger for one reason or another. I do get Playdate emails, though, and a surprising and hilarious one caught my eye earlier today (subject line: Mamma Mia!):
The Sleep Room in The Outlast Trials is named after a real-life space at McGill University’s Allan Memorial Institute in Montreal, where from 1957 to 1964, doctors conducted mind-control experiments on patients as part of the CIA’s MK-Ultra initiative. Led by Dr. Donald Ewen Cameron, these tests included electroshock therapy, sensory deprivation and heavy doses of psychedelic drugs. One patient, Linda MacDonald, went to McGill seeking help for symptoms of postpartum depression after giving birth to her fifth child. She was placed in a drug-induced coma for 86 days in the Sleep Room, and records show she was treated with 109 rounds of shock therapy. MacDonald lost her identity, memories and motor skills; she had to be toilet trained all over again.
The Phase 1 and 2 character banners for 2.5 have allegedly been leaked, revealing all 5-star characters and 4-star units in the update, as well as the order in which they appear throughout the duration of the patch. Version 2.5 of the turn-based RPG by developer HoYoverse is expected to arrive in early September and, with it, bring new playable characters, all of which have already been announced. Feixiao in is an example of this, though she will be joined by the debuts of Lingsha and Moze, too.

has a lot of options for different endings, and some late-game decisions can lead to an ending for Gale that might indicate Baldur’s Gate is in for some serious trouble. Like all of the Baldur’s Gate 3 companions, some key decisions determine how Gale’s story will end. Thanks to the Netherese Orb in Gale’s chest that could explode and kill him, these decisions also have some pretty high stakes.
Since launch, the base difficulty of Genshin Impact has been capped at World Level 8, bottlenecking the strength and loot of open-world enemies and putting them well below the average power of a well-built player. With update 5.0 and the release of the Natlan region later this month, developer HoYoverse is finally releasing World Level 9, upping the difficulty considerably and making character materials much easier to farm.
