The free Reign of Sand update is slated to launch on August 6, adding new voice acting by the talented Ben Starr (who played the protagonist in Final Fantasy XVI), a new area, new enemies, 25 new Essence Stones, new progression mechanics, quality of life improvements (chiefly to the camera, but also balancing and onboarding), the much-requested New Game Plus mode and a new difficulty mode called Nyaal's Nightmare.
