Tom Hiddleston reveals that his Loki was inspired by an iconic Die Hard character

Somehow it's been 13 years since Tom Hiddleston first stepped into the shoes of Loki, his beloved character in the MCU. But where did he look to for inspiration, when taking on the iconic role over a decade ago? It turns out, one of the answers is none other than Alan Rickman's dastardly villain Hans Gruber from the legendary 1988 Bruce Willis action movie Die Hard (which yes, is one of the best Christmas movies of all time).

The Sandman spin-off show creator reveals that Netflix asked for Easter eggs and Neil Gaiman created a new character for the series

New supernatural TV series Dead Boy Detectives, based on the DC Comics of the same name by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner, has had an interesting journey to our screens. Originally starting out life as a spin-off to HBO Max's (now just Max's) superhero show Doom Patrol, in 2022 the streaming service gave the production a series order with The Flight Attendant's Steve Yockey attached as showrunner. If the Fallout TV series gets a second season it'll have deathclaws, more than justifying its existence

It's surprising that season 1 of the Fallout TV series doesn't have a deathclaw. They're the most terrifying foe in the Fallout bestiary; when I think of Fallout I think of Vault Boy and I think of deathclaws. But television producers must practise restraint. They can't just toss all the series iconography into eight episodes to please nerds, much to the chagrin of Redditors and me.

Morbius may go from "Living Vampire" to very very dead vampire in Amazing Spider-Man: Blood Hunt #3

The finale of Amazing Spider-Man: Blood Hunt arrives this July, and it could be spelling curtains for none other than Morbius. That's right, the just revealed solicit and cover for Amazing Spider-Man: Blood Hunt #3 could be teasing that the so-called 'Living Vampire' could soon become very dead.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's most painfully boring minigame was originally twice as tedious, but at the last minute Square decided "it might be stressful"

Square Enix tried really hard to make Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's mako vacuuming minigame more enjoyable than the painfully tedious practice in masochism that it is by all measures. In fact, it was originally a lot worse.
