Modiphius has announced the year's most obscure tabletop RPG adaptation

When it comes to TTRPGs based on licensed properties, there are some weird examples out there. Just recently there was a crowdfunded set of books based on the original Planet of the Apes movies, I was surprised in February by the announcement of a Tomb Raider RPG, and going back to the hobby's early days you can find such oddities as games based on Dallas and Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai.

Genshin Impact 5.0’s Best Change May Have Nothing To Do With Natlan

One of the best leaked changes in 5.0 may have nothing to do with Natlan, the next new region and the most relevant part of the upcoming patch. Version 5.0 is expected to arrive in late August if the regular six-week schedule between updates doesn’t suffer delays. The patch will introduce the first portion of Natlan for players to explore, continuing the Traveler’s journey through Teyvat in search of their lost sibling. You can prepare for Dragon Age: The Veilguard for $4 during PlayStation’s Summer Sale

Dragon Age: The Veilguard from BioWare and EA is one of the biggest games set to launch this fall. It will mark the first new game in the fantasy RPG series in a decade and hopefully be a single-player return to form for BioWare after the ill-regarded Anthem. If you’re planning to play Dragon Age: The Veilguard when it launches later this year, you should catch up on the series’ lore by revisiting some of the older games in it. Thankfully, the PlayStation Store Summer Sale just gave you the perfect opportunity to get Dragon Age: Inquisition for quite a low price.

.45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND is a cyberpunk RPG by the developer of VA-11 HALL-A

Sukeban Games is working on what it describes as a «cyberpunk active time action» game with a battle system that's similar to Parasite Eve. In a blog post, Chris of Sukeban has officially announced .45 PARABELLUM BLOODHOUND, featuring a mercenary named Reila Mikazuchi as its protagonist. Enemies can attack you from anywhere while you're exploring environments in the game, and you'll have to dodge and wait for an action bar to fill before you can launch a counterattack. The action bar fills at a speed based on your character and weapon stats, so the stronger you get, the faster you can fight back.
