Deadlock players are learning they can pause the match for the entire lobby, and some are using it for evil

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. You’re about 40 minutes into a Dota 2 ranked match, the enemy Techies is planning on stalling for as long as he can, and some comedy genius decides to pause the match to drag things out just a little bit longer. Bad manners? Probably, but they’ll be laughing all the way to low-priority matchmaking, I’m sure!

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 creative director speaks about the dark fantasy RPG's stunning Unreal Engine 5 graphics: 'It’s a key foundation for the studio to really look for the latest technology'

One of the games I'm most looking forward to right now in 2025 is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a unique-looking new dark fantasy RPG being created by Sandfall Interactive. But also because it’s using Unreal Engine 5, and that means its graphics look fantastic, with notably subtle lighting effects and incredibly detailed textures. Check out the trailer below to get a taste.

AOC announces what could be the cheapest OLED gaming monitors yet

You just gotta love a bright, contrasty, juicy OLED gaming monitor, right? Affirmative, but then there's the sordid matter of money. The new LG UltraGear 32GS95UE is amazing. But it costs $1,400. Ouch. Which is why a pair of new OLED panels just announced by AOC are particularly good news.

You can now rent a 'minibrain' for $500 a month and the potential implications are horrifying

I know, I know, one man's dystopia is another man's utopia, and it's certainly easier to have a negative take on something than a positive one. But I struggle to accept that anyone could not feel a sense of disquiet upon hearing that you can now rent a human «brain organoid» for «realtime neural stimulation and reading».
