2K Games confirms eight more wrestlers joining the playable roster of WWE 2K24, which launches on March 8. The updated roster of WWE 2K24 includes beloved legends, active members of the RAW and Smackdown rosters, and up-and-coming young talent from the NXT roster.
WWE 2K24 is bringing back the infamous ECW promotion for its MyGM mode. Extreme Championship Wrestling was created in 1992 as a competitor to both the World Wrestling Federation (as WWE was once known) and World Championship Wrestling, and set itself apart with a roster of future WWE 2K24 superstars and a more hardcore style of wrestling that saw competitors strike each other with weapons as often as punches and holds. I have looked into this further, and it turns out not only is Trinity the name of the military order in the rebooted Tomb Raider games, but it is also the code name for the first detonation of a nuclear weapon, which was conducted by the United States Army back in 1945. And that could be what the Tomb Raider website is referring to. Whoops!
