In short, there are many different ways to play a rogue, and it all depends on which subclass the player picks.
At the beginning of the game, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance's Canon of Vengeance is not particularly different from the regular Canon of Creation story introduced in the game's original release. Soon enough, however, you will get to meet some powerful enemies that cannot be found in the other Canon, powerful enemies that can give you a lot of trouble if unprepared.
