An anonymous modder has brought one of the best mobile games, Infinity Blade, to PC 5 years after it left the App Store

Infinity Blade is not something I've had cause to think about for a damn long time. The swipey ARPG launched on iOS way back in 2010, and because I've never owned an Apple product I was left out of all the fun. And there was plenty of fun to be had, with simple-but-responsive brawls and graphics that blew other mobile games of the era out of the water. This, along with a slew of positive reviews, bumped it up the iOS charts, where it became the fastest growing app ever in the App Store at the time.

Researchers have figured out how to hack a wireless charger to fry your phone and heat objects around it to 280°C, so that's just wonderful

Like many, I keep a wireless charger next to my bed to charge my phone overnight. Also like many, I am consistently amazed by the fact that wonderful, device-charging electricity can safely pass between the bottom plate, through my phone case and into the device itself in a safe and efficient manner. Well, mostly safe.

I love a little gaming laptop and this powerful 14-incher with an RTX 4070 has never been so cheap

Acer Predator 14 | RTX 4070 | Core i7 13700H | 14-inch | 250Hz | 1600p | 16GB DDR5 | 1TB SSD | $1,999.99$1,299.99 at Amazon (save $700)It's not the prettiest gaming laptop you'll ever see but underneath the cheap-looking exterior is a pile of really nice hardware. That Intel CPU has 14 cores, 20 threads, and the GPU is a 140W RTX 4070. Backing them up are 16GB of DDR5 RAM and, unusually for this price, a full 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. Even the 2560 x 1600 screen is good, with a 250Hz refresh rate and mini-LED backlighting. There's very little to dislike here and it'll be down to whether the lightweight nature or 14-inch panel just aren't right for you.
