Yet another great-looking Final Fantasy game has come out before we even have a PC release date for the last big Final Fantasy game

Look, I know it's a loser move to whine about corporate decisions I can't change and products I'm unable to consume, but it just baffles me: Square Enix and Rockstar are the only major third-party publishers still committed to the PC snub. Everybody's loving Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, the continuation of Square Enix's remake/reboot trilogy, while the PC crowd's still waiting for word on when last year's Final Fantasy 16 might grace our desktops.

NYT Connections today: answers and hints for Saturday, February 24

Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. The game tasks you with categorizing a pool of 16 words into four secret (for now) groups by figuring out how the words relate to each other. The puzzle resets every night at midnight and each new puzzle has a varying degree of difficulty. Just like Wordle, you can keep track of your winning streak and compare your scores with friends.

The weekend is here and with it comes a brand new for fans of the game to solve. Every day a new mix of words is presented to players and it's their job to find the connection between them. Often the game plays little tricks on the player by adding a few words that might go together but aren't the actual answer.

Researchers have figured out how to hack a wireless charger to fry your phone and heat objects around it to 280°C, so that's just wonderful

Like many, I keep a wireless charger next to my bed to charge my phone overnight. Also like many, I am consistently amazed by the fact that wonderful, device-charging electricity can safely pass between the bottom plate, through my phone case and into the device itself in a safe and efficient manner. Well, mostly safe.

However, multiple owners are reporting that the front side of their AR headset are showing a crack while the device is just being stored and doing nothing else. This kind of occurrence would make anyone livid who has to fork $3,499 for a head-mounted wearable, and that too, for the measly base storage of 256GB.

Come get on the Framework bus with me and bag yourself an 11th Gen 13-incher for just $499

I may be sat in front of my RTX 4090-toting desktop gaming PC, but I felt I had to whip out my Framework 13 laptop to tap out this story about the fact you can now buy one of these outstanding lappies for just $499. That's a great price for one of the best small form factor laptops around right now. There are obvious caveats to that significant discount, but it all plays into the ethos of Framework, and why I'm more than happy to support what it's doing.
