The Fallout games, at least since Fallout 3, have been absolutely massive games in both scale and popularity. The post-nuclear-war setting is rife with interesting stories to experience and monsters to kill. Fallout 4 was the last single-player entry in the series before Fallout 76 took the game into a persistent multiplayer experience. A large appeal of these games is how you are able to actually role-play and immerse yourself in the game world, which isn’t so easy with other players jumping around in their underwear. Thanks to mods, it has never been a better time to revisit the last “pure” Fallout game.
There are a lot of creative features integrated into the PlayStation 5's DualSense controller, including a small speaker that is often used to add a layer of immersion in certain games. However, if you're annoyed by this speaker's interruptions — or if you're just trying to cut down on noise while folks are sleeping, perhaps — you can actually disable this feature altogether. Here's how to turn off the DualSense controller speaker on your PS5.
I can't believe I'm saying it, but Bungie has done it again. After a turbulent year—one of delays, layoffs and assorted corporate grumbling—Bungie released the free Into the Light update for Destiny 2 and the players… they're actually happy.
World of Warcraft's limited-time event, Plunderstorm, is nearly over—but there's going to be one last chance to swipe your bag of pirate-themed swag from its many reputation rewards. Once this week's maintenance is complete (around 4 pm UTC April 16 for US servers, 4 am UTC April 17 for EU servers), all reputation gains will be doubled until the event wraps up April 30.
Earlier this year, Microsoft announced that certain first-party Xbox titles would be going multiplatform, including Obsidian’s charming “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” style co-op survival game Grounded. Well, today Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition officially hits PS4, PS5, and Switch. That said, there’s no reason for you Xbox owners to feel left out – the Fully Yoked edition comes with a number of new features, which you’ll be getting right alongside folks on the new platforms. These features include New Game+, queen ants, extra goodies to collect, and more. Sadly, this will be the last major update for Grounded, but it sounds like a meaty one at least. You can check out a trailer for Grounded: Fully Yoked Edition, below.
Mythic hero skins are the ultimate customization for heroes in Overwatch 2. Every Mythic hero skin is uniquely crafted to push the limits in artwork, animation, and effects. Players have had the chance to Dragon Blade in high-tech style with Cyberdemon Genji, conquer the galaxy with Infinite Emperor Sigma, and save Overland with Adventurer Tracer. Now, whether you are coming back for a new season or are a brand-new player, you can collect the Mythic hero skins for your favorite heroes and level up with the customizations you want in the all-new Mythic Shop. We’re excited to give you the choice of what Mythic skins you want to collect, and this update is just the start as we continue to evolve Mythic cosmetics.
The Xbox Series X’s 1TB sounds excellent on paper, but in reality, Microsoft’s console only offers about 802GBs of storage due to updates and the operating system. You may find yourself filling up your space quickly, especially if you’re looking to download every new title that becomes available on Xbox Game Pass. Let’s face it, Call of Duty alone takes well over 100GBs of storage — and with the system targeting 4K resolution, games are only growing in size.
