Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, the next game from New Zealand developer Aurora44 (the same studio behind Ashen), finally got its release date announcement during yesterday's Xbox Game Showcase: the game is slated to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X on July 18.
Klowntalities are special finishing moves in you can unlock for new animations that play when you kill downed human characters. While you get several of these moves by default when starting the game, you can obtain more by completing various challenges. Those with extra Klowntalities can customize how they eliminate enemy players from an ongoing match permanently.
As 's DLC looks to make new additions to the game's combat system, one new item in particular might drastically change how the game can be played. In the lead-up to the DLC's release, several new previews have shown off the first few hours and areas that players will experience in, revealing new weapon types, player progression systems, bosses, and hints at the DLC's narrative and lore.
If launching yourself face-first into a wall full of spikes sounds fun, then there's a new hellish platformer on the block for you. Splodey calls itself a platformer that «does away with the jump button entirely» because instead of leaping between platforms the way you'd expect, you'll use explosive potions to propel yourself through its deadly, sidescrolling levels.
