Card game developer says it paid an 'AI artist' $90,000 to generate card art because 'no one comes close to the quality he delivers'

The maker of digital trading card game Champions of Otherworldly Magic says it has spent $90,000 on card art, the entirety of which has been paid to a single «AI artist» who receives $15,000 per month despite dedicating less than two full work days to the project each month.

It's not just OLEDs that can suffer from burn in. Your graphics card's backplate might suffer from it too

Of all the issues that afflict PC gamers, whether it's a dodgy driver, excessive fan noise, a buggy game patch or OLED burn-in, I would not have put the photodegradation of a GPU backplate in the top 100 of potential issues.

Starfield mod expands the base-building system with 40 new farmable plants, massive bio-domes, and your very own Chunks franchise that earns passive income

On my personal Starfield wishlist is an expansion to the planetary base system. Bases can be useful—you can hire NPCs to work there and generate resources from the planets you build on—but they're not much fun, and once you've set them up there's very little reason to hang around. It's a part of the game I was looking forward to the most, but it feels like a big step down from Fallout 4's base building system.

League of Legends is getting a Vampire Survivors-style PvE mode later this year

Bullet heaven games are essentially the reverse of bullet hells: Instead of trying to dodge endless, nigh-impenetrable waves of enemy projectiles, you are the source of those projectiles, using them to mow down endless, nigh-impenetrable waves of enemies. They're not all dead: Thousands of Helldivers 2 players are still fighting robot survivors, including me

Did you hear the news? The Automatons are all gone. Yep, the Helldivers 2 community defeated them—they're scrapped, cooked, never coming back (according to Super Earth). We all suspect a story twist will bring them back eventually, but for now, half of the game's enemies are really unavailable to fight.
