Logitech Playseat Challenge X review

As anyone who sim races on a regular desk setup will tell you, compromises must be made. Intel will have spent over $160,000,000,000 on new fabs, assembly, packaging, testing and R&D facilities by 2030

It won't have escaped your notice that Intel has been in the news a lot recently, either talking about its race to be at the cutting edge of chip manufacturing, getting billions of dollars from the US administration, or having a few issues with its high-end CPUs running the latest games. It's certainly been very busy, though, building all kinds of new facilities for making processors, as well as expanding its research laboratories. In a brief report on its 10 largest construction projects, Intel shared that the total cost of all the current investments will be over $160 billion by the time it's all finished.

If the Fallout TV series gets a second season it'll have deathclaws, more than justifying its existence

It's surprising that season 1 of the Fallout TV series doesn't have a deathclaw. They're the most terrifying foe in the Fallout bestiary; when I think of Fallout I think of Vault Boy and I think of deathclaws. But television producers must practise restraint. They can't just toss all the series iconography into eight episodes to please nerds, much to the chagrin of Redditors and me.

It took almost 10 years, but REDkit modding tools are finally coming to The Witcher 3 and a test version on Steam is live now

Back in 2015, CD Projekt released MODKit for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a mod tool that «enables [the] Witcher community to modify several aspects of the game to their own liking.» As we noted at the time, however, it's not the mod tool: That'd be REDkit, a far more powerful piece of software that lets users create entirely new things in the game, rather than simply changing up what's already there.

Grand Theft Auto publisher Take-Two Interactive is laying off 5% of its workforce and 'rationalizing its pipeline,' the latest skin-crawling corporate euphemism for people losing their jobs

Grand Theft Auto publisher Take-Two Interactive said today that it has «approved a cost reduction program to identify efficiencies across its business and enhance the company’s margin profile, while still investing for growth,» and what that means in practical terms is that it's canceling several games currently in development and laying off roughly 5% of its workforce.
