Map editors in the Far Cry franchise are nothing new, and they offer players a way to experiment with the sandbox. However, the map editor in Far Cry 5, which launched in 2018, received a significant upgrade, giving players access to assets from various Ubisoft franchises, including the previous Far Cry titles, Assassin’s Creed, and Watch Dogs.
