A group of modders are building 'Baldur's Village' in Stardew Valley, an idyllic little town where you can date Astarion and maybe hang out with some of those other guys

A Baldur's Gate 3 fan artist with the handle XunHe1145 has revealed a planned Stardew Valley — Baldur's Gate 3 crossover mod to be made in collaboration with other artists. Baldur's Village will feature Stardew versions of some of BG3's companions in a new little town, complete with custom art and dialogue.

Tarkov studio claims it actually doesn't have the server capacity for everyone who bought the game for $150 to play its upcoming PvE mode, still wants players to pay extra

In what has rapidly eclipsed Fallout 4's mod-breaking «next-gen» update as the biggest unforced error of the week in PC gaming, Escape From Tarkov dev Battlestate is still holding firm that players who bought the $150 Edge of Darkness edition of the game will not have access to an upcoming PvE mode in the game—one where your progress persists between server wipes, no less. That feature was announced as part of a new $250 Unheard Edition—even though the $150 EoD edition promised access to «all future DLC» for Tarkov.

Wait, how did I miss that you can finally preorder Armored Core 6 model kits?

After months of waiting, Bandai Namco finally revealed its first model kits for Armored Core 6 at the end of March. The first run is set to launch this September, and includes fan-favorite NPC buddy Rusty's Steel Haze, enemy pilot Raven's Nightfall, and a weapons pack with the pulse blade, laser rifle, laser drone, and vertical plasma launcher.

Thanks to Fallout 4's disaster update, GOG's patch rollback feature makes it the best version of the game right now

Fallout 4's next-gen update has been an unmitigated disaster on PC: in exchange for practically no improvements, many non-Creation Club (read: paid) mods for the game have been rendered unusable until the community at large or individual mod authors come up with a fix. If you already have the game on GOG, though, you're in luck: rolling back to the last patch is a cinch.

Fallout 4's 'next gen' update is over 14 gigs, breaks modded saves, and doesn't seem to change much at all

Fallout 4's long promised next gen (really current gen) update is finally here after a two-year wait since its initial announcement, but it's not a winner on PC. We anticipated there would be the usual issues with mod compatibility (see the Fallout London devs delaying their highly anticipated project), but PC players aren't getting much benefit from the ~14.4 gig patch.

Arrowhead says Helldivers 2 players should avoid bullying those fancy lads with the blue preorder armor, who are canonically frozen yogurt salesmen

First reported by GamesRadar, Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead has politely requested that players refrain from killing their teammates who are wearing the fancy blue preorder armor, no matter how much you may want to stick it to those nerds and their silly little outfits.

Ted Litchfield - Even with my bad case of battle royale fatigue, this upcoming mecha game's 60-person battle royale/extraction shooter hybrid mode sounds pretty sick - pcgamer.com

Even with my bad case of battle royale fatigue, this upcoming mecha game's 60-person battle royale/extraction shooter hybrid mode sounds pretty sick

We weren't quite sure what to make of Mecha Break when it was unveiled at last year's Game Awards—is this a story-heavy challenger to Armored Core's throne, or something else entirely? After a gameplay reveal earlier this year and a conversation through a translator with developer Amazing Seasun's CEO, Kris Kwok, I got the skinny on a much weirder game, one that's pairing tight team-based shooter modes with a take on battle royale that, despite my fatigue from the genre, definitely has my interest.

A leaked Call of Duty: Mobile skin turns a gun into a 3D animated WWII diorama where tiny little men fight and die in a miniature war, and it's so absurd I don't care how much it costs

This leaked Call of Duty: Mobile skin is a gun turned into a battlefield, a miniature battlefield with tiny men who run around on top and fight and die, all while carried by a tiny guy who lives only to fight and die on a miniature battlefield inside of your phone, which is in turn held by you, a tiny person who lives only to oh God.
