Zenless Zone Zero Easter Egg Only Activates When Players DON'T Play The Game

In a fun Easter egg,players who return to the game after going on a 14-day hiatus get a special welcome-back message from one of the in-game characters. The title lets players choose between two characters at the start, either Belle or her brother Wise, and depending on whom the player chooses, a «recorded» message will play when the right conditions are met.

After staying away from the game for at least 14 days, players who return to are greeted with a message from either Belle or Wise. The message players receive depends on which character the player chose when they started the game. Those who chose Belle at the beginning will get a message from Wise and vice versa. A video shared on the X account shows the two different versions of the welcome back message.

The messages show up as incoming calls from either Belle or Wise. Both say the same thing, as they welcome the player back andask if they had a good time on their «trip.» Each of these pre-recorded messages relays that they've missed the player and notes that to celebrate their return home, they've prepared a few presents for them. This includes an extra special gift from one of the two siblings.

The new returning player's rewards program, titled «Back in Business», was recently added in Patch 1.2, and more details were shared on the Zenless Zone Zero website. To trigger the event, players must stay logged out of the game for at least 14 days and must have completed the Chapter 1 mission «Earlybird Ticket to Safety.» The program can only be triggered once every 40 days.
