marks the latest release in the returning series, roping new and familiar foes into the ring like the Grapplavine. Though a returning enemy, the boss presents a formidable battle for those who've played past entries and newcomers alike. Dubbed the Weed boss, this vicious vine poses one of the greatest threats awaiting your party in Mylos Woods.

Grapplavine is a Level 22 boss wreaking havoc on the Verdeus Borough, first appearing in Chapter Four following Julei's introduction. Weeding out this thorny opponent's weaknesses is fairly intuitive, despite the apparent drawbacks of the combat system. Even so, Grapplavine doesn't keep its greatest tricks buried for long, so it's best to enter battle with the right party members at the forefront to beat it.

Naturally, Grapplavine boasts immunity to Wood Magic and resistance to water-based attacks. To level the playing field, it's best to rely on Fire Magic and Slashing attacks, the boss' greatest weaknesses. The boss fight can be broken down into two distinct phases, during which Grapplavine will alter its stance and rely on different attacks to shake up your party's defenses. At Level 22, it's easily overpowered by a team of any three characters between levels 23-25.
