Square Enix has largely kept its lips sealed about the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake since announcing it three years ago, but the publisher has now revealed which platforms it's coming to. Bungie has won a lawsuit against Phoenix Digital, a company that owns the cheat-making website AimJunkies. The lawsuit was issued in 2021, with a jury finally reaching a verdict on Friday, May 24. Phoenix Digital and four individuals related to the company (David Schaefer, Jeffrey Conway, Jordan Green, and James May) were found guilty, and Bungie will be awarded $63,210 in damages from the company's profits while selling Destiny 2 cheats.
Next-gen upgrades have made it possible to play many games in their ideal forms on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but there are still a lot of games that lack these updates. Not every studio has the resources or time to do extra work on games that were published years ago, so it's not surprising that many titles have been left in the past. All the same, it's disappointing when a game could clearly look and run better on the hardware with only minor tweaks.
