Final Fantasy XVI famously didn't meet the sales expectations of Square Enix, though that was partly blamed on slower than anticipated adoption of the PlayStation 5 (the only platform where the game is currently available). And yet, The Rogue Prince of Persia was revealed during the Triple-I Initiative as a roguelike take on the genre. There was no release date given, but the game is entering early access May 14. However, you can get your hands on it even earlier if you apply to participate in the alpha test.
Helldivers 2 has emerged as one of the year's standout titles, not least because it's been supported post-launch in a highly unusual fashion.
