All Map Fragment locations in Shadow of the Erdtree

What made the experience of Elden Ring so special was how it handled its open-world design. There was a bit of concern about FromSoftware combining the Souls-style combat and map design into an open world, but the result has become one of the most celebrated examples of how open-world design should be done. So, needless to say, everyone was itching for that map to get expanded with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Land of Shadows is a separate new zone added to the game, but it is far larger and more dense than anyone anticipated. As it was in the base game, just exploring the map won’t uncover the map for you. To do that, you need to find Map Fragments hidden around the world. There are five to collect to fully reveal the Land of Shadows, so go get them first to get a good lay of the land early.

404 deaths and 32 hours deep into his DLC marathon, Elden Ring streamer Kai Cenat tells difficulty critics to 'put your big boy pants on, go out there, and go fight'

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has drawn some criticism for being too hard—spinning up the FromSoftware design discourse anew two entire years after the base game's release. Its flavour feels different this time around, though, since even supposed souls superfans have been antsy about it, earning it a «mixed» user review score on Steam at the time of writing.

Corsair M75 Wireless review

Gaming mice are often suited for a particular type of PC gamer, namely one that's right-handed. If you're a leftie, then the field of options looks decidedly underwhelming. The Corsair M75 Wireless addresses that somewhat by being a true ambidextrous gaming mouse, letting you easily switch between the default right-handed mode and a left-handed setup.

John Romero says that what set Wolfenstein and Doom apart 'was our speed—the speed of the game was critical'

John Romero could be ordained as Pope, and people would still come up at mass and ask him about the early days of id Software and Doom. One of the key figures in early FPS history and by far the most infamous and outspoken, Romero's brand of hirsute grungy swagger worked for a very simple reason: the games he designed and promoted were brilliant (until they weren't).

Is Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree Harder Than The Base Game?

has finally been released, and as expected of a FromSoftware game, it doesn't hold back when it comes to difficulty. At first glance, it's much harder than the base game, but there's a bit of nuance to this shift in difficulty. It has a different style from the base game, and the scaling is more similar to instead. But trying to compare the difficulty of the DLC to the base game isn't an easy task, considering that both the boss stats and scaling changed for the DLC.
