Not all sets are built equally. While Standard-focused expansions have a power level that's satisfying to play with, they often don't have a dramatic impact on longer-running formats like Modern. Sure, the odd card or two will break through, and inevitably there will be a stand-out that either refines or enables a new strategy, but these can generally be counted on one hand per set release. That's not true of sets, however, which feature reprints and brand-new cards being made specifically to enter the Modern format (and beyond, into Legacy and sometimes Vintage).

Xbox fans, and some of their employees, were blindsided earlier this month when Microsoft announced a number of their studios were being shuttered, including the “gut stab” closure of Arkane Austin, developer of the acclaimed Prey and the more troubled Redfall. Unfortunately, at the time, it seemed unlikely any of these promised updates would come to fruition.
Farming Artifacts in may get a lot easier with the arrival of Natlan later this year if a new set of leaks are to be believed. Natlan is the upcoming sixth major region of Teyvat and is known to be the Nation of Pyro. The location’s release this year had already been confirmed a while back with the game’s initial roadmap, which established it as the next big area after Fontaine. With the conclusion of the story arc set in the Nation of Hydro, developer HoYoverse once again reiterated that Natlan’s release in is next.
Last week's closure of Arkane Austin (along with Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog Games, and Roundhouse Games) spelled the end of the line for its not particularly well-received co-op FPS Redfall, and any shot it may have had at a Cyberpunk 2077-style redemption tour. But it's getting one final update before the end comes, which among other things will include a long-awaited offline mode.
