The way World of Warcraft: The War Within quest rewards work is game-changing for transmog enthusiasts

At the moment, when you complete a quest in World of Warcraft and get rewarded with some gear, only the items your character can use get added to your cosmetic wardrobe, where all your transmog options are stored. This means if you're a leather user, your plate-wearing alts won't get any goodies, aside from maybe a cloak. This tyrannical system is coming to an end in The War Within.

Indika review

Indika is a misfit Russian Orthodox nun on a mission. She's tasked with delivering a note to the Danilov monastery, which is a welcome reprieve, because the other nuns in her own monastery hate her guts. Little wonder, though: she's not a very good nun.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the exceptional 4K remaster of the original trilogy that we said 'looks great' and 'absolutely flies on modern hardware', is now 90% off

The original Mass Effect trilogy remains, to this day, an unparalleled sci-fi action RPG experience. Coffee and PC gaming ground together in perfect harmony, in this fabulous Scandi wood-sauna-themed build

Like millions of people around the world, I love coffee. In fact, just the thought of writing that made me go and make a mug. My absolute favorite little gaming laptops from Amazon Gaming Week, and one of them even has a lovely OLED screen. Mmm

Acer Predator 14 | RTX 4050 | Core i7 13700H | 14-inch | 165Hz | 1200p | 16GB DDR5 | 512GB SSD | $1,499.99$799.99 at Amazon (save $700)This is probably the cheapest 14-inch laptop I've seen, and while I would absolutely have preferred the RTX 4060 over the RTX 4050, it is worth noting that it's a full 95 W version of that GPU. We've seen from our testing that means it will best RTX 4060 chips running at 65 W or less, such as the Nvidia GPU in the Transcend 14. You're also getting an Intel CPU that has 14 cores, 20 threads. Backing them up are 16GB of DDR5 RAM and, sadly, just a 512 GB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD.

NASA's latest speed test logs its laser-based comms system at 25 Mbps—a connection speed usually good for online gaming—over millions of miles through our solar system

Lasers—pretty cool, eh? NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) had previously figured out to use lasers to beam a video of Taters the cat through space to the Psyche spacecraft, which at the time was around 30 million kilometres away. For Americans and Brits, that's really far away in miles. Today, however, JPL has figured out it can use lasers to communicate with that same craft now that it's over seven times further away and still score a 25 Mbps connection.
