Another weekend is upon us, and you’re probably wondering which Xbox Game Pass games you should spend some time with over the next couple of days. Although Halloween is still several months away, the release of a new horror game this week means that I’m recommending some spooky titles from the Xbox Game Pass catalog this time around.
Ubisoft has finally confirmed the release date for Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition. First announced by Ubisoft in late 2023, the game will debut on June 25 for PlayStation 5 & PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Amazon Luna and PC through the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store and Steam. Limited Run Games is also producing a physical edition and a Collector's Edition, with pre-orders set to open on July 12.
It used to be the case that Intel's B-series motherboards were very basic indeed. Going back a few generations, they couldn't even overclock memory. The moment it became available on Steam, the positive user reviews for Elden Ring's new Shadow of the Erdtree expansion started pouring in. The DLC has almost a thousand ratings as I write. None of these players have seen much of the Land of Shadow yet—the expansion is much larger than we were initially led to believe and has barely been out for an hour.
Despite the immense success of , Larian Studios has been firm in denying the opportunity to make a sequel to the 2023 Game of the Year winner. Because of the success and name recognizability of the franchise, Wizards of the Coast will likely find another studio to make, much to the disappointment of many fans. Still, Larian has been updating its game constantly since its release. The Belgium-based studio may be winding down its work on but it has one last major gift to its players before it says goodbye.
A new mod for finally makes space travel as simple as players have always wanted. One of the aspects of that players were looking forward to the most was space travel, with the game boasting thousands of different planets to visit, but both of these aspects ended up falling short of player expectations. Traveling can be difficult, especially when each part of flying through space takes a handful of cut scenes to get rolling. Thankfully, mods can help ease the pain of traveling and make it as immersive as everyone was hoping it would be in the first place.
