Blizzard politely tells Hearthstone players their game isn't dead just because it's not getting a new cosmetic board this expansion

If you want to talk about 'getting good,' one Elden Ring player has beaten Messmer the Impaler at level 1 without dodging, blocking, or getting hit a single time

«Get good» this, «player toxicity» that, none of it really matters when you're talking about just having fun with a cool videogame in this bitch of a life. There was a guy dressed like an Assassin's Creed character doing parkour while carrying the Olympic Torch in Paris, which was somehow one of the tamer parts of the opening ceremony

The internet was abuzz about metal band Gojira's Olympics opening ceremony performance suspended high on the walls of a French Chateau, but as reported by Eurogamer, the celebration also featured an equally surreal bit of videogame marketing woven through the whole shebang: A masked torchbearer dressed like Arno from Assassin's Creed Unity, parkouring about with the blessings of franchise creator Ubisoft.

The Like a Dragon live action show's first trailer isn't giving the same vibe as the games, but it still might make for some great martial arts-infused noir

Amazon Prime has released a first teaser trailer for its upcoming Like a Dragon: Yakuza adaptation. It's a short teaser, but definitely feels more gritty and serious than the games' sometimes goofy, always surreal brand of melodrama.

Activision secretly experimented on 50% of Call of Duty players by 'decreasing' skill-based matchmaking, and determined players like SBMM even if they don't know it

If you ever find yourself in the middle of an argument about Call of Duty and want to toss a tank of gasoline on the fire, recite these four letters in order: S-B-M-M. Skill-based matchmaking is the invisible system by which Call of Duty, as well as most modern multiplayer games, match you with similarly-skilled players so that every matchup is as fair as possible.

Someone once told me I was weird for consuming as much milk as I do, but it's just that I like things that go with milk: cereal, coffee, protein powder. It's not like I sit down at my desk to play XDefiant with a big frothy glass of the white stuff.
