Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, Trials of Mana and Legend of Mana release on Xbox today

Three previously released Square Enix games are coming to Xbox today.

Trials of Mana and Legend of Mana are both available on Xbox today, and both are also available on Game Pass.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster also comes to Xbox today, but won’t be on Game Pass.

Trials of Mana is a remake of the 1995 Super Famicom game (which was the third in the Mana series) and was initially released on PS4, Switch and PC in 2020.

“This is a beautifully vibrant action-RPG where you pick a party of three very different heroes from a selection of six – and depending on who you choose, you’ll experience a different narrative as you play through the game,” Square Enix said on the Xbox Wire blog.

Legend of Mana is a remaster of the 1999 PS1 game (the fourth in the series), and was released on PS4, Switch and PC in 2021.

“Instead of one narrative, you’ll play through up to 68 quests, and while they tie in with three central arcs, each has their own story to tell,” Square Enix said. “You can play through these quests in different orders, and as you play you’ll create your own world map.”

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster offers remastered versions of the first six Final Fantasy games, with rearranged soundtracks and quality of life features.

Whereas Trials of Mana and Legend of Mana will be on Game Pass, however, Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster will only be available to buy, either as six individual titles or a bundle.
